Navigating Homeschooling Challenges
Currently, we have a lot on our plate. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but my children are being homeschooled, and here in Austria, there's a rule that once a year our children must take exams covering all the subjects they've been learning. Another rule is that they must achieve good grades to continue with homeschooling.
We've been homeschooling for nearly five years now, and before the exams start, we always review every subject thoroughly. That's why I've been a bit quieter recently.
However, we're almost finished with everything, and I'm confident now that my child knows everything he needs to pass the exams.

My Recent Knitting Adventures
I also wanted to share what I've been knitting over the last few weeks. I recently made another pair of socks inspired by a beautiful design I saw on Pinterest, which featured a lovely lace border. To replicate it, I started by knitting the lace part for the socks in rows. Once I reached the desired height, I joined it in the round and continued knitting the rest of the sock in the usual way. As a finishing touch, I added some buttons. You can read more about these cute socks in this blog post!

I also participated in another test knit recently — the adult version of the Belfalas Tank. I chose a beautiful blue yarn that reminded me of the ocean. I'll share more details about this test knit in a future blog post after its release date.

Additionally, I began knitting the Robinson Wrap Cardigan that I mentioned in one of my previous blog posts. My goal was to finish it before my birthday, but unfortunately, I injured my finger and couldn't knit for a week. Nevertheless, I'm excited to continue working on it and share my progress soon.

Celebrating Life’s Special Moments
Two days ago, I celebrated my 36th birthday. My daughter and I baked a chocolate cake together, which we filled simply with apricot jam and covered with chocolate icing. It was a delightful day of relaxation for me. I spent my birthday knitting my cardigan, drinking coffee, and enjoying the cake with my family.
As I grow older, I've learned to appreciate the importance of health and well-being for both my family and myself. I understand how suddenly life can change for the worse, so I'm grateful for each passing year and the good health we all still have.
Until then, happy knitting!
