There's something magical about creating something special for your child. It's not just about the stitches and yarn, but about the love, hope, and anticipation woven into each row.
I truly enjoy knitting for my children, I have already made so much for them, Anna loves the Anne Pullover and the Diana Sweater so much!
If it was possible, she would wear both of them at the same time. But I don't think that this is possible? We could try. :D

The Special Neckline and the Unusually Weather
What's truly special about the Little Ithilien is its unique and delicate leaf neckline edging. Knitting the lace edging was also very easy, because the designer Melanie Rountree provides a chart, written instructions, and even video instructions for each and every row of the lace part.
Last autumn, I knitted this sweater with long sleeves in mind, knowing how quickly Austria transitions into cooler weather. September 1st truly marks the shift; the warmth fades almost overnight, with continuous rain almost every day, demanding long sleeves and a thin jacket for mornings.

But last year was different. It was unusually warm where I live. Although temperatures typically begin to drop in early September, they remained high until the beginning of November.
Unfortunately, despite finishing the sweater with its cozy Baby Merino wool from Drops Design, it turned out to be too warm for her to wear. It seems like even our autumn weather patterns are changing!

While the weather may be unpredictable, one thing remains constant: the love we pour into our creations. So, tell me, have you ever experienced your weather patterns shifting, impacting your knitting projects?
Until then, happy knittig!
